It's really an experimental sound for the first third of the disc...rumor has it that Namlook used some sort of device to use a passing rainstorm as part of the track...which would account for the "random" plinks and plunks for a lot of the track. It's definitely worth a listen, or even a few listens. I noticed I still had the price sticker from the store where I bought it used, and saw that it was inexplicably priced at $1.91 (u.s.). Yes, one dollar and 91 cents. I've found my share of bargains over the years, but this is the lowest price I've ever seen on any Fax disc. My copies of Summer and Winter were both priced extremely low, presumably because the vendor thought they were incomplete. So that lack of artwork/inserts for the Seasons isn't entirely a bad thing! - -- Brad - --- + To post: ; to mail a person: + To unsubscribe: "unsubscribe" to + Online info at: www.faxlabel.com www.hyperreal.org/fax www.2350.org ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 May 1999 14:35:13 +0100 From: "Jon Draper" Subject: Re: (fax) Re: Superfaxdeals I got hold of second hand copies of both Gorn and Gamma for about =A38 each.
