picked up "om" with tetsu inoue on it and if you're into mostly upbeat
ambitrance stuff, a lot like "head dance" on datacide 2 or "ever retured a
human" on shades of orion 1, up-beats with layers on top ... i recommend it
... backroads music has it in stock

Unfortunately, they appear to be uniformly taking the samples from the
beginning of each track, and 27 seconds of the start of any ambient cut
usually isn't enough to tell what the rest of the track will sound like.

however,  i am slowly building up a real audio site for full length fax cuts
at http://members.xoom.com/tonelab ... itlooks real ugly right now (ftp
listing) but i'll put a face on it soon but just click on the .rm extensions
to play what is there

One long track called "Monochrome Existence".  This should have been a
warning for me - hehe.  I was expecting more but instead I got a very
mediocre droning type album.  I guess I was hoping for some sweet
Laswellian "idiot bass lines".

If you are talking about "Exploring the Psychedellic Landscape":  Excellent
CD.  As is "Day in the Live".  However, I am most pleased with their latest
effort, "The Retro Rocket".  All are strong FAX releases - very synthy and
beatful.

There weren't too many.  Here's what I know:

RSN CD7 Silence
RSN CD9 Dreamfish
RSN CD10 Air

And then compilations that were exclusively Fax material:

RSN CD11 The Definitive Ambient Collection (vol 1)
RSN CD13 The Definitive Ambient Collection (vol 2)

Some or perhaps all of these were likely available on vinyl too.  They
probably used the same catalog numbers but substituted LP for CD in the
numbering scheme.  I think Silence, Dreamfish, and Air all had different
cover artwork.

There are a few Rising High discographies on the web, one of which has
the track listings of the Def. Amb. Collections if you're curious.
