Looks like my brain teasers might have been a touch too obscure ... just two replies ... one privately with one correct answer and one via the list, above, with (almost) two right. So: 1. Chris Meloche's early inspiration was hearing Karlheinz Stockhausen's "Hymnen" on the radio. 2. "Clouds Of Orion" can be found on the 93 release, Hemisphere. 3. Tetsu Inoue quoted "spirituality" as being the most vital aspect which PK draws out of his music. 4. Daniel Pemberton has recorded quite a lot of material for UK television and co-wrote "A Mile Away" on CUE's Octopus 3. 5. Think (Spanish) COSTA ... think (Victor) SOL ! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Dec 2000 16:18:46 +0000 From: "Paul Milligan" Subject: (fax) Looking back on 2000 Was it a good year? Compared to 99 - I'd have to say "yes". At least two releases which IMO are superior to anything from last year (Possible Gardens & Virtual Vices 2) and I haven't heard the second Fires Of Ork installment yet! Plus, they re-released Shades Of Orion and Ambient Otaku - okay, so it wasn't *new* music but, it made me a happy man. Oh and best year ever? ... I'd say 95 by a clear margin. Paul np. Emit Explorer (disc 1) superb stuff! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Dec 2000 18:00:07 -0800 (PST) From: Hyp Nom Subject: (fax) FAX Y2K charts here's my personal FAX rating chart of y2k 1.
