I have regularly used the list to trade and I agree with paul that this is the place to do it, surely once every month or so wouldnt be a bad limit on such a low traffic list though? rA NP: Various - Did you see? Well, slight exaggeration Rowland and a touch of "last-word-itus" to boot. I'd say once a week was average and certainly none in the last 10 days; although ironically two people contacted me *today* about postings from late January. >surely once every month or so wouldnt be a bad limit on such a low traffic >list though? Sorry, don't get this? Frequency is determined by how many titles one owns and how often one wishes to exchange them. I only know of two ways to satisfy my large appetite for music which are to spend an absolute fortune or, trade with like-minded individuals. Judging from the fact that I trade 90% of titles first time I'd say there must be quite a few out there (like-minded individuals) including those who own the 60 - 70 Fax titles I've traded via the list over the last couple of years. (BTW I do actually buy quite a lot of stuff aswell) Anyway, lets not fall out about this. My point earlier was actually with regard to the rather ignorant people who post to the Fax Traders Page then don't bother either to remove their titles when sold or, to reply to enquiries. With apologies to all who are disinterested. Paul nb. actually have 6 new titles in front of me right now (Fax & related) for trading but, I think I'm running out of goodwill .............. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2001 17:28:48 -0800 From: "Raphael Almeria" Subject: RE: (fax) To trade or not to trade? >Anyway, lets not fall out about this. Some are so out-of-print they were deleted at the mastering stage. Watch this space. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Feb 2001 12:51:04 +1000 From: Geoff Elgey Subject: (fax) FAX CD's for sale G'day, I'm offloading a bunch of CD's that haven't been played for a year. I quite like some of these, but if I'm not playing 'em, then I'm not keeping 'em. Anyway, some FAX gems are included in the list. All in-print FAX CD's are US$10, and out of print CD's are open to offers. I'm not after a high price, it's just that I did not know what to ask for out of print FAX cd's these days. If you think a FAX CD I've labelled as out of print and is still in print, feel free to let me know. Anyway: the url is: http://security.dstc.edu.au/staff/elgey/cd_sale.html There's a whole bunch of other stuff for sale as well, including FSOL, Aphex Twin, Spiritualized, Orb, etc and heaps of rubbish.
