Well Sven Vath's "Harlequin" Album is top in my eyes... "Accident in Paradise" is excellent too. However, i found lots of promo vinyl to collect from the earlier Album. Oliver Lieb's "Into Deep" album is must have. Wonderfully produced amibent rifts and flowing chords. "Phorous" being outstanding with lovely Dubby bass happy bouncey-ness and the Remixes are something else. "Jillanity" Oliver Lieb Club 2 Remix is awesome, in fast banging bass chords coupled with strong rifts which just drives on. the sort of tune one wishes it i'll never end. (don't drive with this tune playing, One will find One's-self doing 120mph whilst banging ones head with pleasure!) Ordered Boardway 2350 on Reissue. should hear in the next couple of weeks what all the fuss is about. Ade. PS. Chances are some tidbit of Namlook's released music on FAX, maybe some unreleased music from the vaults, has made its way into some movie soundtrack somewhere. I do know that bits and pieces of "Air" have made their way into at least one US television show once, ...er "Hardcopy" I believe it's called. - -- C:\Gary H@> http://www.gary-hendershot.com/ ghenders@gary-hendershot.com ghendershot@gmx.de (junk mail) Houston, TX USA Sent through GMX FreeMail - http://www.gmx.net ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2001 23:52:08 -0800 From: "Raphael Almeria" Subject: RE: (fax) Pete doing a movie soundtrack? >somewhere. I don't own a television set, so, I'm not totally familiar with everything that's on televsion, but I think I have seen a bit of Hardcopy at some other friends' house once. It's a documentary show, correct? Anyway, yes, I recall the reports a rollin' in to the Ambientlist maybe 4 years ago, "I HEARD NAMLOOK ON TV TONITE!" As for my experiences of suddenly hearing some Namlook out of the blue: About 1994/95, then again around 1997, I used to hear a commercial run on a few local commercial radio stations advertising some dance club. Guess what the background music was???????
