I thought it was an okay release - you know, one of those that's 50% pretty damn good (but, not outstanding) and 50% take it or leave it. Others right around that time which involved Namlook; like Fires Of Ork, Alien Community, Shades Of Orion and Limelight, were better imo. I sold mine for 25 UK pounds a year or two back (THE ONLY TIME I'VE EVER MADE ANY MONEY OUT OF A DISC I HASTEN TO ADD) and, if my recollection is correct, you might find it's one of those that sounds a touch 'dated' now. That said, I might just pick up the reissue for the hell of it so, go figure that one! btw - never heard of Steve Stoll (was that his name?) before or since. Anybody know more? ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 18 May 2001 16:00:22 +0100 From: "Corbin, Nick (CAP, EEF)" Subject: RE: (fax) Hemisphere >btw - never heard of Steve Stoll (was that his name?) before >or since. Anybody know more? Yeah - he's a techno DJ if I remember rightly, and still going strong. Not quite sure how he got involved with Namlook though... Still recording under the name of Blunted Boy Wonder for Novamute. I've never been much a fan of his own stuff, and as to how he connected with Namlook, your guess is as good as mine, although around that time I believe Namlook was making contact with pretty much all the big names on the techno scene with a view to collaborations and releasing material, hence the proliferation of releases (and new projects!) on both the label over those two years..... ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 18 May 2001 17:14:54 From: "Jeff Shoemaker" Subject: RE: (fax) Hemisphere

Steve Stoll is an American living in NYC :)

i've always thought that the Namlook connection came from them both being signed to Music Man Belgium, but i'm not sure if that's accurate.
