I've wondered more than once whether PK put this one out with his own tongue-in- cheek, bearing in mind this was the era when he could do no wrong. Regarding Alien Community II, I felt the weighting of opinion on this one was perhaps not representative of the wider audience here (?)... the first AC is admittedly quite basic but, the second was certainly not "uninspired". Both these releases are very rhythmic and the lack of melody is characteristic of the sound, not a shortcoming imo. The repetition probably doesn't make for great listening at home but, it works great in a car! I still have both the AC discs but, no longer Sea Biscuit so, make of that what you will. btw - isn't it International Fax Day soon? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2002 03:07:54 -0800 From: "sanvara" Subject: Re: (fax) Namlook III question If you paid £4 you should be happy. You can make money dumping it off on some pour unsuspecting soul. ;-) As for rumors...people start all sorts of rumors. I heard it was actually created by his cat randomly walking back and forth across a synth keyboard as he dangled a piece of string to entice it. I don't know what to believe! ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2002 11:08:47 -0000 From: Edward Jones Subject: RE: (fax) Namlook III question My god! What have I started!
