The one major part of NOL-I that`s held me back from playing it very often is the several times that the "engine" revs up and down??? In NOL-II, the techinque is much more polished and under control without sounding forced or held back.!! very nice :-) ,scoUt np George Winston - (classical piano) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? It looks similar to the AW Hemisphere...and I want to get the AW for the artwork and as a play copy. I`d think the organics, live in H, wired are basic. OK, but basic... the only one off the top of my head that i think it nice artwork yet far off of the music is Audiolounge. That couch looks soooo comfy and i wanna sit in it...but, honestly the music made me think of sitting at my desk with paperwork around me...not chilling out at a rave or home in a plush couch :-( __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Thinking back over the past year it's slightly suprising that we discuss Fax artwork so often (after all the music is first; foremost) but, I suppose it reflects our interest in Fax "the label" too ... and no bad thing. I actually feel Wired is one of the strongest covers of the past 2-3 years ... and, incidently, Andre put forward an even more "basic" (monochromatic) version to Pete in the first instance, which it would have been even nicer to have seen imo!!! However, this only goes to prove that good art(work) comes down to the personal perception of the individual viewer. Some of the actual images which were used in earlier (circle) covers were pretty crap imo but, the circle CONCEPT elevated them somewhat don't you think? Some of the very earliest circle covers were as "basic", graphically speaking, as one can get but, the overall idea was good. Like Mondrian's paintings ... not visually complex but, they have that 'something' . I never liked Audiolounge's cover but, realise my reasons are subjective ... in my mind the imagery accentuates a certain cheesiness. Reactions to Psychonavigation 5 artwork have ranged from annoyed disappointment to well impressed and everything in between. As far as I'm concerned that's a good thing ... I'd rather that than we all loved or, hated it. ------------------------------ End of faxlist-digest V2002 #39 ******************************* --- + To post: ; to mail a person: + To unsubscribe: "unsubscribe" to + Online info at: www.faxlabel.com www.hyperreal.org/fax www.2350.org
