There's only one review on 2350 for SYN 1 and it tells us very little (and the "hardcore" ref really put me off) so, would anyone with a copy care to supply more info by way of setting the scene for the new one? Get the audio up soon Andre! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Mar 2002 09:52:30 -0000 From: Edward Jones Subject: (fax) SYN The SYN 2CD is a very patchy work indeed if you ask me, the first CD consisting in the main of a combination of some (IMHO obviously!) rather turgid and uninspired "hardcore" trance pieces (If Only You Could See, Jugoslavia, TAT '93, Painamplifier), a couple of more lengthy, ambience with beats tracks (Subconcious Power, Ancient History) - which are much more like it, and the rather splendid "The Flight", a long-form ambient piece making up the whole of the second disk. I would imagine (hope!) that SYN2 consists more of the latter two styles than the former. Still, I await the results with interest. Anyone prepared to comment on Psycho 5 by the way?
