I believe one of the vocal samples is from "Star Trek: Deep Space 9." It sounds like Avery Brooks (Sisko) saying something about "scorporeal entities" (sic). Peace. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 May 2002 08:02:06 +0100 From: "Rich" Subject: Re: (fax) Escapism I can't remember the title of the film, but I know the plot : A scientist discovers that a Solar flare will cause a massive temperature inversion on Earth, resulting in an Ice Age. The Military doesn't tell anyone. When Los Angeles freezes over (the snow-covered Hollywood sign made me chuckle slightly), this cop finds out about it. Anyway, him and his family (and a few friends) get wind of this nuclear sub which is supposed to pick up this scientist, and it gets a bit complicated there. But at the end, they bluff their way onto the sub, after the cop rescues someone who they'd left for dead. At the end, the man (I think) says "It was chilly there for a while." and the (previously separated but now in love) wife says "Yeah." etcetc Sorry. Completely forgot what the film's called, but I'm 99% sure that's where it's from. On the FAX site, the vocal sample "We are constantly searching" in Benjamin Sisko from Star Trek : DS9.
