Some really nice stuff there, like Kooler and Create. Set B is more the traditional fax-trance style. However, its really nice as well. The MS-Series is nice synth noodling, while Xangadix 1/2 is the same but with a firm groove. I haven't finished listening to it yet, but first impressions are that it a really good album. A nice mix of uptempo tracks and some slower stuff. A *lot* better than Etherlands. The first track is a real funker, a mix of old school electro, vocoder vocals and some classic Spyra sequencing. Tracks 5 and 6 with their Xylophone type leads sound similar to the "7 Homes & 8 Spyrits" from Phonehead. I'm not sure it's universally unpopular but, for me, it was a bit of a disappointing follow-up to Sferics. Less subtle, more lightweight in comparison, with ultra cheesy Synthesizer Experience track at the begining which put me right off. Six Miles South of Hastings is a tour-de-force though. I still think his best ever is Future Of The Past but this new one sounds very promising. Totally amazed that Namlook has 3 Sub Label releases in the pipeline ... he's obviously had something of a rethink.
