Matt Just click on "Wanted" from the menu down the left hand side and you'll get a summary of how it works. As far as I am aware all the reviews are non-professional (by which I mean reviews posted by Faxheads, not journalists or resellers). This is the third release, with a different cover. Just like Dreamfish. There was an original, an AW reissue with CUE's artwork, and then another reissue with Andre's art. > AND is this a double cd consisiting of DSOTM 1 & 2 or are they > separate cds? Separate as far as I know. And yes, the music is the same. It is a bit confusing isn't it. The original = the first pressing (PK, PW or PS) then you have the second pressing/reissues on Ambient World (AW) and, more recently, we've been getting the third pressing/reissues on AW which are distinguished by different artwork to the original AW reissue. So now some AW reissues gone out of print have become collectable too! It's not that long ago I traded Silence 2 (the now oop *first* reissue on AW) PLUS a copy Silence 5 for just ONE in-print title. I must have been mad ... I probably could have got at least $30 dollars for Silence 2 alone on eBay. Until late 2002 I had this 'trade music for music' philosophy and must have traded dozens of oops on this list. I finally caved in to the lure of the eBay bandwagon. Everyone can have a laugh at my expense when I tell you that I once traded a copy of I.F. for just $25 dollars worth of new music (ie. 2 regular priced in-print titles). ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2003 12:29:35 EST From: RLynn9@aol.com Subject: Re: (fax) New releases (questions) In a message dated 3/13/03 11:19:19 AM Central Standard Time, paulmilligan@georgiadesign.com writes: << It's not that long ago I traded Silence 2 (the now oop *first* reissue on AW) PLUS a copy Silence 5 for just ONE in-print title. AND i sold Autumn,Winter, Kooler, Gorn, Gamma, and A Day in the Park, Psychonavigation, and Outland on ebay ..for ridiculous prices (probably a shade under what i paid for them) BEFORE the big FAX rush and INFLATED prices... ahh...the dumb things we do sometimes! i kick myself everyday for those blasphemous and ill-advised moves! Looking forward to that hearing that one, although have to admit I've been a little disappointed by the 2 Paap CD's on Fax, especially after most other people seem to rave about them. Absolutley loved Jochem's Speedy J albums - Ginger,G Spot & Live. Particularly the chilled out parts. Heard bits of the next album (Public Energy?) and lost interest until Vrs Mbnt I came out.
