Dude, couldn't you phrase the subject line a little differently? It sounds like the Fax label is going out-of-business!!!! None of us want that to happen, naturally. Where can one "easily" get the first five Silence albums, the 2350 Broadway albums and the Psychonavigation albums on the net at 256k? Hardly any MP3's on the net that I see are 256k. Is there some sort of 256k Fax archive somewhere that I don't know about. I'm familiar with all the usual sources for MP3 and I don't see this stuff. When I see the a Fax album on the net it's usually at 192k. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 20:07:41 +1000 From: "Sebastian Pucilowski" Subject: RE: (fax) Hypnotism, FAX not ending soon. >> Where can one "easily" get the first five Silence albums, the 2350 Broadway albums and the Psychonavigation albums on the net at 256k? I have used it *exclusively* since I moved away from other P2P systems, its really rather incredible. You can search by album, and download the entire album in one mouse click. And it resumes neatly too, for example. Incidentally, the community on it isn't terribly large, around 500 people, but its extremely dedicated and in good mood. Sharing out your own stuff is the "right" thing to do, unless you want to find yourself on a few ban lists (leachers are definitely not apprieciated). If you so feel like it, you can add me to your favorites list. I'm the user "sabie". It'll pop up as saying "no files shared", but when I add you to my list, you'll be able to see everything I've shared out, about 25k of mp3s, plenty of which is Fax material I'm despirately searching for in physical format. - - Saba - -- Sebastian Pucilowski Department of Mathematics and Statistics The University of Melbourne ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 02 Apr 2003 13:56:07 +0100 From: Paul Milligan Subject: (fax) Cor Blimey the clutch of Sub Label releases were good news but, now I'm starting to wonder if their appearance was anything to do with it being almost 6 months now since Pete released some genuinely new material in his own name, collaborative or otherwise.
