A couple of times I've taken a risk and tucked some euros in an envelope ... when you're tracking down Fax stuff it's often a case of needs must! Mind you, at current exchange rates ebay.de is starting to look decidedly expensive anyway. I was getting 1.6 euro to the pound last year and now it's less than 1.4 ... it was bad enough when Fortress Europe took the opportunity of converting to the euro to hyke like *everything* in price. PayPal is a nice thing, but you must have a credit card to use it. Perhaps credit cards are not that common in Germany (speaking for those people I know). How is a credit card expensive ... unless you don't pay off your bill when it comes through? I probably get at least one (sometimes more) unsolicited letters a week from UK C/C Cos. offering fee-free cards *and* silly repayment rates.
