I'll go along with that. These are both great albums IMO. The funny thing with A New Consciousness is that when I first heard it all those years ago I hated it. The opening track just sounded like random noodling to me and the rest failed to make any sort of impression. This then sat in a box of CD's that I didn't want but couldn't be bothered to get rid of for quite some time. When I did come to get rid of them I gave this another listen and it all made sense. Environment(Twosevenzero) is a top minimal type of track and track 3, Golden Gate sounds particularly good played loud. My advice to anyone who plays a Fax album and doesn't like it is don't get rid of it straight away. Like all music it's very contextual and when you hear it in the right setting it can be like hearing a totally different album. I've found this with several Fax albums over the years Create definitely has a bit of a Psychonavigation feel to it. I always liked this. Never heard the second disc in either of these series though. From the reviews I get the impression they're not as good (I stand to be corrected there).
