Was it a joke? A vendetta? Did PK or TI comment? For what it's worth I find S&L a LOT less enjoyable than the first two TI releases on Fax. Right off topic, but anyone here care to comment on an early 80's release by Wavestar entitled Moondawn? I read some interesting stuff about it recently. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Jun 2004 15:32:53 -0500 (CDT) From: Trevor Cordes Subject: Re: (fax) Slow & Low vs. Man Made Motion On 23 Jun, Paul Milligan wrote: > Not that I recall, not publicly anyway. Yes, S&L really goes nowhere interesting IMHO... but I'm partial to Zenith-type sounds so your mileage may vary. Finally had some time to really listen to Time2 recently and track 2 is wonderful TI -- but what the heck was PK trying to do with the other tracks? They're not awful, but they don't at all support the wonderful floating track 2. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Jun 2004 08:25:54 -0500 From: Trevor Cordes Subject: (fax) Pop For Dwoozle vs. Raise This Flap Is it just me or are there quite a few similarities between Dwoozle and Raise This Flap? Similar patch choices, similar rhythms, etc. Especially the tracks Grasshoppers vs. Raise. I guess Moufang was the majority stake in Flap, as it could easily be just an extension to Dwoozle and nobody would really be able to tell. Weird, because neither is at all like the Moufang of the mid-90's that I remember. Regardless, good stuff both of them. Nothing ground breaking but a definite grower. On my second listen I appreciate it a lot more already. ------------------------------ End of faxlist-digest V2004 #53 ******************************* --- + To post: ; to mail a person: + To unsubscribe: "unsubscribe" to + Online info at: www.faxlabel.com www.hyperreal.org/fax www.2350.org
