If memory serves, this would be the first "request-based" Fax CD - awesome & kudos to Dave for giving us the opportunity to shape our own tiny bit of the Fax future - let's hope this pans out in the fall. >From: EAR/Rational Music > >(You are receiving this email because you signed up to purchase the Season's >Greetings MP3-CD.) > >Folks, we have enough signups and interest that I'm fairly certain the >Season's Greetings MP3-CD will happen! > >Peter is currently on his summer vacation (he's currently working on the >third Sultan CD, so it's not all vacation), and prior to his vacation he >and I discussed this a bit. I can understand people coughing up the big bucks for original pressings of fax music but $75 for a t-shirt? Aren't there places that will produce one-off original t-shirts to ANY design you want (ie. if you provide them source material) for a third this amount? A year or two back Andre was knocking Fax t-shirts out to list members for the cost of postage if I recall correctly! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Jul 2004 05:22:36 -0500 (CDT) From: Trevor Cordes Subject: Re: (fax) weird auction -- thoughts? For some reason 14 is very rare on ebay. It's only been up there 5 times in 1.5 years by my count, which makes it more rare than Putney 1! Strange, as it's a qty 2000 release. Either no one wants to sell or there's lots of copies sitting somewhere. It's like Octopus 2 and 4Voice 2 in this regard. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Jul 2004 14:50:18 EDT From: RLynn9@aol.com Subject: Re: (fax) weird auction -- thoughts?
