You have some seriously flawed information, not to mention logic. I won't waste the time of the list but suffice to say you have some very bizarre and unscientific beliefs with regard to the topic. - -- Mr. Tangent [the binary police] www.mrtangent.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2004 09:58:19 +0000 From: Paul Milligan Subject: (fax) Christmas jolliness > i hate mcdonlads for feeding children animals intestines ... & inflicting Ronald on them, naturally! Seriously, most US fast food concepts make it to the UK in the end (we've just had the pleasure of one of those Sub places opening in our local 1000 year old 'market garden' town) and we really do not need them thanks. We're already unhealthy enough over here. Never mind as long as someone gets their pockets lined hey? Almost as exploitive as those Fax resellers bumping up their prices so they can holiday in the Bahamas. I wouldn't mind if it simply came down to my right to exercise the option of choice (ie give them a wide berth) but, they are a magnet for litter and THEY BLOODY STINK THE WHOLE STREET OUT. Incidentally newer members may not be aware of one of the founding 'rules' of the list ... off-topic is permitted during the 12 days running up to (as opposed to after) Christmas. So I think I'll just say, I had Mezzanine in the car this morning and it's flippin great! Paul (nb. Fax resellers comment was joke... irony... just before one of our members who've had the sense-of-humour by-pass op. reply!) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2004 05:25:53 -0500 From: theREALmxyzptlk Subject: (fax) FA eBay 10 Years of Silence. Sadly, these tracks are are of a derivative world beat/electronica vein, and they are rather disappointing. Whatever genius this artist had has gone down the drain, leaving PS 08/62 to be a mere fluke in what could have been a brilliant career as an ambient musician. This is what happens when one extends oneself into so many fields, since he writes for magazines, as well as other ventures. Do one thing and do it well. Such a shame.
